Crocus Bulb Planting with Memorial Gardens Association

  • Victoria Embankment, Nottingham, England, NG2 2J7 United Kingdom (map)

The Memorial Gardens Association (MeGA), in partnership with Green Meadows, will be planting 1000 crocus bulbs alongside the Memorial Gardens.

Join the MeGA team on Monday 28th October, 10am and plant some crocus bulbs that will pop up next Spring. Meet by the Queen Victoria statue in the Memorial Gardens.

On this day we will be planting 500 bulbs. The other 500 will be planted by students from Greenfields, Welbeck and Victoria Primary School. A joint community effort!

After planting some bulbs, at 11am, stay for a cuppa and some cake and find out more about the MeGA group and their volunteering activities.

This project is delivered by MeGA but funded by the Green Meadows Ideas Fund, a fund for local groups and organisations to run sustainability initiatives for the community. Another project funded by the Ideas Fund is the AMCGardens Refill Station. What could your group do? Get in touch if you have an idea!
