Visit inspiring climate initiatives across Nottingham and Derby in a mini-bus. These trips are free and include a goody bag with treats and lunch when required. After each visit, we’ll discuss how we can tackle these issues in the Meadows and plan our next outing!

You will have some time to think up your idea for tackling climate change in the Meadows community. Your idea could be about waste, transport, food, etc. It’s up to you! In June, the Meadows Community will choose the idea they would like to turn into a reality. The young person whose idea is chosen will win a brand-new laptop!

The group will be able to meet regularly at the Climate Hub, 32 Turney Street, NG2 2LG. These meet-ups will be to develop the selected idea into a real project to help the Meadows community tackle climate change. You’ll decide how you want to do this. Do you need to bring in an expert to learn a new skill? Would you prefer to have this discussion over pizza? What about a film night? Whatever you need to get the project up and running!
