Green Meadows Low Carbon Tour

Green Meadows are organising tours around the region to explore what is possible as we move to a zero-carbon future, focusing on our homes.

About this event

The Meadows has been at the forefront of moves to become more sustainable for over fifteen years now. As a result, we have some good examples of ways in which our houses and our lives can be made more energy efficient.

Green Meadows will be organising tours around the region over the next few years to explore what is possible as we move to a carbon neutral future. The first tour will be in the Meadows on Saturday June 25th and visit three examples of energy efficient houses. These range from a simple retrofit to more adventurous active and technological approaches and will give people a chance to look inside and explore them first-hand.

The tours are limited to a maximum of twenty people so get booked up on Eventbrite as soon as you can. The tour will be run again in September if you miss this one.

The tour will leave from the Meadows Library at 10.30am and walk to Eckington Terrace and then Green Street, finishing around 1-1.30.
