A Wildlife Pond workshop delivered by Andy Callow from Sherwood Garden Consultancy, a local pond expert!
The session will run all day from 10am to 3:30pm. You can sign up for:
Morning (10am – 12:30pm)
Afternoon (1pm – 3:30pm), or
All Day (10am - 3:30pm)
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided. If you are coming for the whole day, please bring a packed lunch.
What will you learn about?
Native pond plants and wildlife
How to create a planting ‘shelf’ to make the edge of the pond more suitable for wildlife to enter, grow, shelter, etc.
How to create habitats with stone, deadwood and plants
How to use local resources
This workshop is suitable for all ages, and inclusive. You can come along to learn through watching and listening, or get your hands dirty. It's up to you!
