Join us for the Meadows DIY Club, where residents get together to share tips, tricks and skills, whilst working on DIY projects or on tasks of their choice!
The club decides the visions and objectives and Green Meadows provide the support, tools and materials!
We’ll keep on hosting the DIY Club every Friday, 16:00-20:00, at the NEP Climate Hub (32 Turney St, NG2 2LG) - ‘til we’re sure that this suits you, or there’s a case for change.
What projects you decide to do, at each and every session, will be up to you!
The FIRST SESSION is dedicated to helping you with your own projects, so please bring along your ideas and things to fix. Be prepared to plan, do, and learn some new skills (with some help from the other Club Members, if you want it!)
Come between 4-6pm to work on your own project and/or 6-8pm to get started on the community project (see below!)
Future sessions will be drop ins and you can stay for as long as you fancy until the end of the session at 8pm!
COMMUNITY DIY PROJECT
Based on members votes, we'll be making workbenches for the Men’s Sheds initiative at the Meadows Foodbank. We’ll provide the materials for you to make them, so let's work together and see how they develop week to week.
All Meadows residents are welcome - we look forward to seeing you there!
