It’s Summer, which means one thing… the Green Meadows Picnic is back and better than ever.
Taking place on 2nd September 2023, 12-4pm, come down to the Queens Walk Recreation Ground, the Meadows, NG2 2DF and join us for the third instalment of this fantastic celebration of community and climate action.
The event is completely free to attend and we encourage you to bring along your family and friends!

Smoothie bike with Pulp Friction - try blending a smoothie in a unique and inventive way… by pedalling!
Adventures in Nature, a playful installation by Makers of Imaginary Worlds - a fun-filled exploration of a local natural space
Seed paper screen printing with Dizzy Ink - work with nature to create artwork that leaves no trace
Football tournament and activities with Notts County Foundation
Live music and DJs
Djembe drumming workshop
Make Good and Mend stall - have something in need of repair? Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn how to breathe new life into your cherished items. Bring your belongings along and receive advice on giving them a second chance to shine!
The Green Meadows Picnic is organised by the Green Meadows, a local programme helping you, The Meadows community to take local action on the climate crisis.
