By popular request, the Green Meadows DIY Club opens its doors at the NEP Climate Hub at 4pm on Friday the 21st February 2025.
Meadows residents will be meeting every 1st Saturday of the month at Bridgeway Centre (precinct) to spread some love across the Meadows by litterpicking, planting flowers, growing veg, and adding splashes of colour to the streets.
Come along and make a street planter! We’re turning old fruit juice barrels into street planters for fruit trees, and we need your help to make them.
Develop basic DIY plumbing skills through hands-on experience, gaining the confidence to complete basic plumbing jobs at home.
Learn how to extend the life of everyday things and learn the basics of sewing, darning and altering, with a free hot lunch included.
Learn about the benefits of tickle vents and the importance of ventilation when retrofitting homes, and how to install them yourself.
In this instalment, we’re touring the Meadows most extensively retrofitted house and hearing about further plans to use only green energy!
We will guide you through the basics and help you gain confidence in using a variety of tools at home.
